I'm Mita, your Housekeeper Review

I'm Mita, Your Housekeeper

Have you ever asked what happens to a family who loses their wife/mother suddenly?

Kaseifu no Mita or the English translation for the title I'm Mita, your Housekeeper is one of many Japanese dramas to watch for.

Akari Mita played by Nanako Matsushima is a new housekeeper for the Asuda family who has domestic work problems after losing their wife or mother. Mita can be asked for anything as long as she can. Even if you asked her to kill someone you hate for. But, if you ask her to smile, she won't do it for a reason that no one don't know.

The story of this drama is well-written. The audience of this drama is pinned gradually from the beginning. Its slow-paced storytelling uncovered the secrets of why Mita, as the main character in the drama does act weirdly and wants to do everything except for smiling.

The acting of the actors and Actresses in this drama is good to enjoy. Hiroki Hasegawa with his acting as a father is confused about how to act and teach his children. All of the kids from Shiori Kutsuna as Yui, Taishi Nakagawa as Kakeru, Shuto Ayabe as Kaito, and Miyuki Honda as Kii. They played it very well and evoked the audience's emotions. And don't forget about the acting of Sei Hirazumi well played by Yoshiyuki Yuuki who is always angry about anything and clumsy Aunt Urara Yuuki played by Saki Aibu.

But, behind everything that is good, there will always be something that is not good too. The problem with this drama is I think the story didn't use show don't tell technique when telling part of Nagiko who is played by Yuko Daike as a mother or wife. What is always portrayed is just part of her attempt to do suicide. There was just some little moment of Asuda's family with her. It also applies to Akari Mita's family when the accident that happened in the past is being told by her. No Point of view was shown with her. Just a view from her. However, it is well covered by the expression of Mita that is raising the audience's emotions when she is telling the truth about the accident that she suffered.
